David Peña-Guzmán is a SSHRC-funded Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Laurentian University’s Department of Philosophy and with CEEEC. His doctoral studies at Emory University focused on the philosophy of science, social theory, and the history of Western philosophy, and was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Cynthia Willett.
CEEEC’s first MA student, Sean has an Honours BA in Philosophy. His thesis, which is being conducted under the supervision of Gillian Crozier and Brett Buchanan, critically investigates notions of play and animals in Nietzsche’s philosophy. Sean also serves as CEEEC’s video technician and editor.
