Research Week at Laurentian University is an annual event celebrating the research achievements made by its faculty and students. Research Week 2015 fell on International Darwin Day (February 12th), providing the opportunity to combine its activities with a series of evolution-themed events: “Evolution in Action.”

From February 9 to 12, several events organized, sponsored, and hosted by the centre were received with much enthusiasm. The events included a Science Café on Evolutionary Medicine, a plenary presentation by philosopher of science Michael Ruse, and an evolution-themed rap performance by artist Baba Brinkman.
